Eyefinity Hits the Road
Nothing beats that high-touch service and support. While our customers need immediate and convenient access to online resources and telephone support, they still appreciate the intimacy of face time, and Eyefinity understands that relationships and personalized service are the key to being an exceptional business partner. That's why we're hitting the road.
We're fanning out across the United States, meeting our customers, answering questions, and demonstrating solutions that will help their eyecare practices run more efficiently. We’re even winning over converts from competing solutions. In addition to the busy trade show circuit, our training team is conducting in-person, regional educational events. These events enable customers to receive face-to-face training without having to travel a great distance. Check out our upcoming events.
American River Rafting Trip
The Rancho Cordova team’s American River trip is the highlight of the summer, and its festivities inspire both competitiveness and teamwork.
This year the team drifted down the majestic American River on a bright, summer afternoon. The rafting included an integrated water soaker fight, from which none were spared. Those brave enough took the opportunity to swing out over the river on a bungee rope and take a dive from the height of the trees. At the end of the rafting course, the team arrived at site where they enjoyed a barbecue, a highly competitive volleyball game, and team-building exercises.
Food Truck Frenzy
In an epic gesture of thanks, two Eyefinity managers served employees lunch—from a gourmet food truck! The lunch was a complete surprise to the team in Irvine, who had been working diligently to update several software products. One manager took orders, while the other called out completed ones. They did pretty well despite the harassment from the customers, but they probably shouldn’t quit their day jobs just yet.
The Friday before Super Sunday is chili cook-off time at Eyefinity, a deliciously fun tradition at the Rancho Cordova office since 2000. Teams compete to win prizes in three categories: Best Overall, Most Dangerous, and Most Creative. Judges have the lip-smacking task of tasting and rating all of the great entries. It’s a fun-filled day of sampling yummy chili and cheering on colleagues.
