Earnie Franklin is the President of Eyefinity, a VSP Global company that is an industry leader in practice management and EHR software, offering solutions that integrate technology products and services and help streamline the everyday complexities of managing a business. Franklin is also VSP Global’s Chief Technology Officer.
Franklin joined VSP Global from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota bringing deep experience in healthcare technology that spans core business capability platforms to front office and customer relationship management tools.
With decades of experience in healthcare and technology, Franklin is skilled in helping connect technology outcomes with organizational strategies. He led IT and Information Security efforts for Triserv Alliance LLC, a start-up focused on helping healthcare companies bid on Tricare contracts. During his tenure at Incepture, a former wholly owned subsidiary of Florida Blue that provided healthcare staffing, consulting and managed solutions, Franklin helped deliver 400 percent revenue growth in a five-year period.
Franklin has served as a board member for Availity LLC and was also on the member board of trustees at Jacksonville University. He was recognized as the Ultimate CEO by the Jacksonville Business Journal in 2010.
Franklin holds a master’s degree in business administration from Jacksonville University. He resides in Sacramento, California.
Prior to joining Eyefinity, Charlie was vice president of engineering at AOL, where he was responsible for the product engineering of the AOL Mail, Address Book, and Calendar product lines. These multitenant, cloud products served a monthly audience of 25 million unique visitors with an average of 4 billion page views. Prior to AOL, Charlie was director of enterprise systems at Motient and held several engineering positions Motient, Pulsecom, and Digital Equipment Corporation.
Charlie earned an MS in software systems engineering from George Mason University and a BS in computer science from Siena College. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, running, playing tennis, and volunteering.
Jeff Lombardi, vice president, customer care, has been with Eyefinity since 2010. He is responsible for leading the Eyefinity customer care team, which includes training, education, and customer support.
Jeff has more than 20 years of experience in software customer support with companies in the telecommunications, finance, and healthcare industries. He has led teams at Agilent and Intuit to support customers on a corporate and individual basis, as well as at the international and national levels. Jeff attributes his success to his dedication to improving the customer experience.
Jeff received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis. Outside of work he enjoys golfing, cycling on all the wonderful trails in the Sacramento area, and spending time with his family.
As senior vice president of product management, Troy is responsible for the strategy, planning, and management of Eyefinity products.
Troy brings 14 years of software product management experience at various Silicon Valley companies. Most recently, Troy was director of product management at NetApp, a Fortune 500 company, where he was responsible for multiple software product lines that drove $1B of the company’s revenue. Prior to NetApp, Troy led product management functions at Topio, Candera, and Legato Software, and started his career at Accenture performing both technical and management consulting.
Troy holds an MBA from the University of California, Davis, where he was the class valedictorian and graduated with honors, and holds a master of engineering in aeronautical science, also from the University of California, Davis. He enjoys spending time with his family biking, hiking, kayaking, camping, and anything else outdoors.
Linus Russell joined Eyefinity’s Executive team this October. Prior to joining the U.S. team in Linus was the Managing Director of Eyefinity in Europe. Linus has served in numerous senior, professional and managerial positions with optical and life sciences companies abroad. For 12 years Linus was the Global Operations Director at Ocuco, Ltd. in Ireland. Through this role Linus has gained an expert level of knowledge in global optics.
